Jillian has a passion for news, giving voice to the voiceless and telling stories that make an impact.
A New Jersey native, she spent the past two years as a multimedia journalist/one-man-band at WTAP-TV, the NBC affiliate in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where she covered everything from meth busts to fracking to the homeless to a young man struck by lightening.
She was her news director’s “go to health reporter” and also covered many education and political stories.
She frequently interviewed the mayors of Parkersburg, Vienna and Williamstown, WV and Belpre and Marietta Ohio. She interviewed OH Gubernatorial Candidate Ed Fitzgerald and OH Congressional Candidate Jennifer Garrison, both who won the Democratic primary, as well as WV Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and WV Senator Joe Manchin.
Jillian was a regular fixture at the local police, sheriff’s departments, prosecutors’ offices and courthouses.
Many looked forward to her ‘Mom of the Month’ series.
Her story about two women who lost their children to heroin was widely recognized, along with her much loved piece on the Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis band camp.
In her free time, Jillian enjoys yoga; working out, live music, spending time with friends on both coasts and the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Ashley Bruno is a Cum Laude graduate from Monmouth University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in communication with concentrations in both TV & Radio Production, and Journalism. While in College she worked for 3 years on her school’s television station Hawk-TV, where she was a News Anchor and Reporter. She also worked behind the scenes on several shows on Long Branch Cable. In addition she had an internship with WABC-TV New York, where she did story development for “7 on your side.” Ashley has a passion for news and loves investigating stories.
In her spare time, Ashley is a total foodie. She loves cooking, baking, and going to restaurants. She also enjoys the gym and fitness, and loves incorporate these two passions by creating healthy treats.
Hudson TV would like to welcome news reporter, model and Fitness Expert, Jolene Matthews, to our team!
Jolene is a TV personality that has been seen on such shows as “Good Morning America”, “Good Day New York”, “Jersey Couture” and “Real Housewives of New Jersey” among many others.
Jolene started her career at ABC Television after graduating with a degree in Communications from SUNY Oswego.
Jolene is also a published contributing writer to such books such as “17 Minutes to a Powerhouse Butt” (available on Amazon) and “Get It” by Reality Star, Jacqueline Laurita and Celebrity Stylist and Bra Expert, Jene Luciani.
The last several years has seen the rise of the Fitness Host, Model and celebrity personal trainer; and through her unique personal program and philosophy, Matthews is beginning to establish herself as an authority on health and wellness issues.
Emily Deschamps is currently studying communications at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has always had a passion for television and the news as she has been performing since she was 4 years old. With a background in dance and theater, Emily is no stranger to the camera. Her interest in news-reporting developed through her course work in school and she plans to make it a full time job. She is currently a lifestyle blogger who has a passion for philanthropy and giving back to her community.
Becca Feher has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston University. She has completed course work in television sports reporting at the University of California, Los Angeles, and course work in television anchoring, reporting and interviewing at New York University.
Becca co-hosted and reported for Sports Interactive, a live, bi-monthly television show, broadcast throughout RI, and co-hosted Red Sox Weekly, a live, weekly television show in Wilmington, MA. In her spare time, Becca explores her passions for real estate, fitness, nutrition, travel and other lifestyle topics by interviewing and reporting around town.
