On December 25 at 253pm, police, fire units and Ems responded to 9 Myrtle ave on an active fire reported by the home owner. All three residents evacuated the home safely prior to Units arrival. The fire which appeared to have originated in the basement, (Origin and Cause is still under investigation) had fully engulfed the home (2 floors).

Although the cause is still under investigation preliminary investigation does suggest that no criminality was involved and it may have been accidental.
