Hoboken man busted with $5,000 cash, heroin, gun

 

A Hoboken man has been arrested for allegedly selling heroin.

Larry Ladson is accused of selling the drugs out of an apartment at 522 Jackson Street.

Deputies say the arrest came on the heels of a six-month investigation by the Hoboken Anti-Vice Bureau and Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Gang Unit into the sale of heroin by Ladson.

Early Tuesday morning they executed a search warrant of the Jackson Street home, where they found numerous bags of heroin, $5,000, a gun and various types of ammunition.

Ladson was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, violation of the drug offender restraining order, prohibited weapon, cruelty to children, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

The 36-year-old was sent to the Hudson County Correctional Facility on $152,000 cash bail, with no 10 percent option.
