Hoboken man robbed at knife point. The alleged actor was arrested moments later

On Sunday November 22nd, a Hoboken man was robbed at knife point while in the area of 4th and Monroe Streets; according to Hoboken Police report, the alleged actor fled with the victim’s wallet and cell phone.

While canvassing the area, Officer Ramon Estrella was able to locate the wallet of the victim in the area of 5th st. at the same time, officer Nathaniel Arocho saw a male matching the description given of the actor.

The report says that the victim responded to the location and positively identified  Mr. Trontz as the actor who allegedly robbed him. The report also says that Mr. Trontz had also an active failure to appear warrant for this arrest out of Newark, NJ.

Matthew Tronz, a 23 year old male from Edgewater, was charged with Robbery, Possession of Weapons for an Unlawful Purposes, Unlawful Possession of Weapons, and Failure to Appear..

Warrant #W2015-005743 was prepared and Judge Mongiello set bail at $25,000 no 10%. Trontz was committed to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
