Our Team of Reporters

John Heinis
John Heinis is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he got his bachelor’s degree in Communications. After writing for several small blogs and publications in Passaic County, he made his debut in Hudson County when he was hired by The Jersey Journal in Sept. 2011. He covered the North Hudson area, which includes Union City, Weehawken, North Bergen and West New York. During the nine-month period where he was contracted as an intern, his ability as an investigative reporter was on full display, unearthing countless instances of corruption in one form or another. Once his contract with The Jersey Journal was up, John was a natural fit to join the Hudson County TV team. In his spare time, John is a fitness junkie, lifting weights and training mixed martial arts regularly each and every week.
Becca Feher
Becca Feher has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston University. She has completed course work in television sports reporting at the University of California, Los Angeles, and course work in television anchoring, reporting and interviewing at New York University.
Becca co-hosted and reported for Sports Interactive, a live, bi-monthly television show, broadcast throughout RI, and co-hosted Red Sox Weekly, a live, weekly television show in Wilmington, MA. In her spare time, Becca explores her passions for real estate, fitness, nutrition, travel and other lifestyle topics by interviewing and reporting around town.
