SECAUCUS – The following incidents and arrests were reported in Secaucus last week.
On March 20th at around 9:57 a.m. the NJ State police transported to this jurisdiction the following 54-year-old male; Juan A. Cantos-Moran of North Bergen, who had an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $200.00. Cantos did subsequently post his bail and was released.
On March 20th at around 10:00 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop near 925 Paterson Plank Rd, police observed dangerous weapons in the vehicle. Miguel A. Gonzalez, 33 of Rutherford, was arrested and charged with Certain Persons Not to Have Weapons, by knowingly possessing 2 dangerous throwing knives in his vehicle. Gonzalez was subsequently also issued 2 motor vehicle summonses; operating a motor vehicle with improper safety glass, and unclear plates. He was processed and later released.
On March 21st at around 8:42 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop near 55 Meadowlands Parkway for an unsafe lane change and improper safety glass, a 34 year-old, Eliesel Bruno, from Newark was arrested for a $500 outstanding warrant out of Belleville for failure to appear. The operator of the vehicle, who was not Bruno, was issued 2 summonses for unsafe lane change and improper safety glass. Bruno posted his bail and was released.
On March 21st art around 8:40 p.m. a Sparta, NJ female was arrested at TJ Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Dr. for shoplifting a pair of ladies shoes and a bottle of perfume, valued at $84.98, specifically by concealing the items. She was processed, served, and later released pending court.
On March 22nd at around 4:15 p.m. in the area of Secaucus Rd. and County Ave., a Jersey City female was arrested during a motor vehicle stop for driving with a suspended registration. During the stop, police discovered the 23-year-old female had an outstanding warrant out of Woodbridge in the amount of $1,500.00. Destiny L. Jones was arrested for Failure to Appear and issued 3 traffic summonses for driving with a suspended registration, driving without a driver’s license, and no insurance. Bail was posted and Jones was released.
On March 22nd at around 9:54 p.m. in the area of 595 County Ave., a 37-year-old from Fairfield, PA was arrested during a motor vehicle stop for improper display. During the stop, police discovered the male had an outstanding warrant out of North Bergen in the amount of $89.00 for failure to appear. Carlos A. Arias was arrested, posted his bail, and was released on 3 summonses for improper display, failure to possess registration, and failure to possess an Insurance card.
On March 23rd at around 6:45 p.m. in the area of 300 Park Plaza Dr., a 31-year-old male from West New York was arrested during a motor vehicle stop for driving with a suspended driver’s license. Police discovered that the driver, Pedro E. Rodriguez, had an outstanding warrant out of Oradell in the amount of $375.00 and three outstanding warrants out of Union City in the amounts of $120, $208, and $122. Rodriguez was arrested for failure to appear, posted his bail, and was released.
On March 26th at around 3:31 p.m. officers responded to 455 Park Plaza Dr. where 37-year-old Enrique E. Martini of Davie, Florida was arrested and charged with Lewdness, specifically by exposing his intimate parts while staying at the embassy suites hotel. Bail was set at $2,500.00 with no 10% option. Martini was processed, served and later released after posting his bail. He is to later appear at CJP Court in Jersey City NJ, on April 08, 2015.
On March 26th at around 6:00 p.m. in the area of 1285 Paterson Plank RD., 35-year-old Cody E. Mullins from Secaucus was arrested and charged with Harassment, specifically by harassing the victim on two separate occasions while she was exiting her vehicle, requesting $93.00 in a manner likely to cause annoyance and alarm.
