WNY Police Department makes a difference this Thanksgiving

The police department in West New York filled a room up with food donations for local churches. This is the department’s 15th year doing the food drive, and Sargent William Kelly said it “exceeded our expectations.” Volunteers from the local churches were ecstatic about the donations and very appreciative of the department’s hard work.

Ashley Bruno is a Cum Laude graduate from Monmouth University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in communication with concentrations in both TV & Radio Production, and Journalism. While in College she worked for 3 years on her school’s television station Hawk-TV, where she was a News Anchor and Reporter. She also worked behind the scenes on several shows on Long Branch Cable. In addition she had an internship with WABC-TV New York, where she did story development for “7 on your side.” Ashley has a passion for news and loves investigating stories. In her spare time, Ashley is a total foodie. She loves cooking, baking, and going to restaurants. She also enjoys the gym and fitness, and loves incorporate these two passions by creating healthy treats.
